The beach remains by far the most important tourist draw of the coast.
Most beaches are well to perfectly equipped with recreational and safety facilities: demarcated guarded zones, orientation posts, signal flags and of course the lifeguards, who keep a vigilant eye on the holidaymakers who sunbathe on the beach or swim in the sea.
